Winter is here and along with winter comes all of the things
we associate with it. Some of us associate winter with negative undertones,
while others speak favorably of the season. It’s a personal preference, really.
Same is true for the topic of technology. One may love Windows with excellent arguments to back up his/her point-of-views, while another loves Mac and has just as many accolades for their preference. One thing to realize is preference does not mean that you can’t get the job done with what you have.
One thing I find as I talk software with so many people is
that each and every person has a preference I have to overcome. Sometimes, the
preference is to my favor and other times, not so much. I tell people that they
should dig deeper when researching what software they want to use to get the
job done. In this day and time, visual is the biggest selling point with
products in technology. All the while, it should be the furthest thing from
their evaluation. When it comes to software, functionality and data integrity
should be the most important thing to validate. However, we seem to leave that
out and I have had several prospects regret such a decision based on visual
aspects alone.
So, when making decisions about software, especially when it comes to technology, I encourage you to DIG DEEPER! - Chanse McGuire – Sales | sales@basic-software.com
