Technical Support for Windows Server 2003 Is Ending




Windows Server 2003 Support Is Ending
July 14, 2015

Support Ended for Windows XP & Office 2003 April 8, 2014
Do you still have a Windows XP Computer or are you using Office 2003? Support for these products ended as of April 8, 2014 from Microsoft. With this end of life cycle, this means there are no new security updates, non-security hot fixes, or support options from Microsoft.  Unfortunately with the end of life for Windows XP, that also must be the end of life for compatibility for your business system as well.  With new development it is important for any computer you have using the business system to be capable of receiving the necessary operating system and .NET updates. 

If you have not already replaced your Windows XP computers, it is important that you visit with your local technician to develop a plan to replace any existing Windows XP computers running the business system in a LAN (local area network).  Please also note that it is important with the purchase of any new computer, to make sure that the operating system is listed as “Professional” level. If you are a Basic Software customer, please share our technical document with your local technician as a guide to make sure you have the correct computers working for your business system as well as discuss your other needs for manufacturers, etc.

This is the time of year that we begin sending out 2014 Tax Order Forms to help our customers prepare for the closing of this tax year.

The Signature Capture device allows dealers to sign the pad and digitally store their signature to any invoice, which can be reprinted at any time with the signature on it. These can be emailed with signature and can be used regardless of method of payment choice. If you are using our Credit Card Interface, we also have a full Credit Card Terminal with Signature capture capability, which gives you both the ability to read credit cards and capture the signature or just use the signature capture feature with other methods of payments. These digitally stored signatures are legally binding and will stand up in court and are many times very useful with collections.

How To Look At Life From The Outside In
Many times we find ourselves at such a low point that we look at our problems from the inside out. We get so bogged down with our daily drudge that we forget about the ability to rise above and evaluate. We have been given the ability to see things for what they are, where they are coming from and what we can do about them. This is a tool we can use anytime we want and it is the perfect tool for evaluating our current situation. As I sit here and reflect, I realize that, in the light of eternity, what I am facing now has very little to do with my eternal outcome. So when you are late to pick up the kids, can’t make soccer practice and the boss wants his report by high noon tomorrow, you can take a step back and recognize you are still able to do all things through Christ who gives you strength. Take refuge in that!
